Junio C Hamano 5aebb3e0ef Merge branch 'jk/sq-dequote-on-bogus-input' ...

Code to unquote single-quoted string (used in the parser for
configuration files, etc.) did not diagnose bogus input correctly
and produced bogus results instead.
