A lot of malware can be avoided by using TrashGuides, but it's a nightmare keeping those up to date. An automatic sync would be handy. I know there are programs that do this for free, but they all have issues - the major one being a lack of a GUI.

I'm going to keep this open for now, but I'm fairly sure this won't become a feature because, as you mentioned, there are already apps that provide this.
