[HELP] Cleaner enabled not staying enabled - clears settings #37

Before submitting a help request, I have:

  • Reviewed the documentation.
  • Ensured I am using ghcr.io/cleanuparr/cleanuparr docker repository.
  • Ensured I am using the latest version.
  • Enabled verbose logging.

How can we help?

Using latest windows install version as of August 1st 2025. Not operating docker version. Not operating Portable windows version.
Verbose logging, reviewed and while setup with qbittorrent, and having a category match a ratio of 1.00 as the trigger to remove any met torrents, the function is working as expected.

The issue is, when i navigate away from the web UI page for cleanup settings, specifically: enable download cleaner is always unchecked, and settings cleared for cleaner. All other settings are persistent.

Any than matching torrents which meet the cleaning settings that where specified, do not get picked up on next check.

Dry run is NOT enabled.

I just encountered this too and came here to report it. It appears the new state is not loaded after clicking save. If you click away to another page after saving and then click back to download cleaner settings it looks like your changes have been lost. But if you hit CTRL-F5 the changes appear. Probably just a client side data refresh missing.

The browser cache clear as was suggested is a viable solution. I can see settings are saved.
