Before submitting a help request, I have:

  • Reviewed the documentation.
  • Ensured I am using ghcr.io/cleanuparr/cleanuparr docker repository.
  • Ensured I am using the latest version.
  • Enabled verbose logging.

How can we help?

I’m using Huntarr with Sonarr and I would like a way to restrict its searches for missing items to only the episodes that are monitored and missing.

Current behaviour

  • Huntarr scans for any show/season that has missing episodes.
  • Once a season is found, it performs a search for every monitored episode in that season – even those that are already downloaded.

For example: A season of 80 monitored episodes with only 3 missing will trigger a search for all 80 episodes.

I could unmonitor the downloaded episodes, but I’m not aware of a setting in Sonarr that automatically un‑monitors an episode once it’s downloaded so I would have to do that manually (please correct me if that’s possible).

I also want to keep some seasons or specific episodes monitored for potential upgrades, so a blanket “un‑monitor all downloaded” wouldn't always work.

Question

  1. Is there an existing option that lets Huntarr search only the missing, monitored items?
  2. If not, is this a feature request that could be added - perhaps a toggle under App Settings > Additional Options “search only missing monitored items (unless looking for upgrades)” ?

Any guidance or work‑arounds would be appreciated.

... I need more coffee lol. Apologies, I'll re-open this in Huntarr.

@BiigBeaker Are you confusing Cleanuparr with Huntarr? This is the Cleanuparr repo.
