It would be nice if cleanuperr ignored the torrents in the qbittorrent queue. The way my server is set up I can only download ~10 items at a time, and now and again, when I add a lot of shows/movies at once qbittorrent accrues a large queue of files that then get wiped by cleanuperr. Would there be a way to fix this behaviour in the tool? Thank you for working on this project, those annoying .lnk files are a thing of the past thanks to cleanuperr!

I have qBittorrent set to only download 2 things at a time, I added 3 seasons of deadwood, so seasons 1+2 were downloading, season 3 got removed. In the logs you can see "when calls the heart" was also skipped, that is a torrent that isn't done downloading but has been manually paused, so that feature works as intended.

I've done some more testing, and it seems like cleanuperr is definitely removing downloads while they are still queued up in qbittorrent. I set the active downloads allowed to just one, then downloaded two things at once. The item in the queue got removed after a few minutes. I then turned cleanuperr off (docker compose down) and the item remained in the queue. If you want me to post any other info let me know! I am running this as a docker container in proxmox.

Can you please enable debug logging and test it again? I'll also look into it. Just as a side question, what version of qBitTorrent are you using? And just to double-check, the deleted item was in Queued status?

According to this part of the code, items that are queued (or any other status than stalled or metadata downloading) should already be ignored. Are you sure cleanuperr removed queued items?

The log goes for a while longer but it looks the same as the last few lines here with whatever is in my qbittorrent and says "download is private"

Unfortunately I can't find a problem while testing, so I'm going to need your help to debug this. I've made some changes in #102 to help us while testing, to better understand why that item is deleted. Replace the latest Docker tag with fix_qbit_queued_items_processing to test those changes and please share the new logs.
