Every piece of evidence gets its own NYC number. 13 Q. How do you recognize Government Exhibit 54 as a device you examined? 14 A. It has my initials on it and it has the case number and the date. 15 Q. What was the first step you took in examining Government Exhibit 54? 16 A.
