I notice some extension's error spam output, so I would like to first know if vscodium-bin-marketplace is up-to-date with vscodium-bin

Or should I switch to:
aur/vscodium 1.103.25610-1 [+83 ~1.95]
and
aur/vscodium-marketplace 1.97.0-1

Extension that spamming is:

And snyk-security.snyk-vulnerability-scanner even crashes the System if checking too many files in a workspace.

vscodium-bin-marketplace and vscodium-bin have the same maintainer.

For the extensions arjun.swagger-viewer (4 years old) and CodeMath (2 years old), recent versions of VSCodium can cause them some issues. The API have changed.
For any issues with them, you should contact their authors

Yes, thank you, I'm coming from there.

I was just curious to see that the last update from vscodium-bin-marketplace was two years ago.

Hi, thanks for reporting this. Iam creator of codemath

The error is caused by the codemath extension failing to handle a text change event inside the editor. It’s not a core VSCodium bug, but rather an issue inside the extension’s event handler.

Most likely this happens because:

  • There have been API or behavior changes in recent VSCodium/VS Code versions (1.103.x), and the extension hasn’t been updated accordingly.
  • Or there’s an unhandled edge case in the code when parsing/processing text changes.

Let's review the event handling logic and update the extension so it’s more robust with the latest editor version. In the meantime, the error should only affect the extension itself, not the rest of VSCodium.

For the AUR, you can look at them at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages?O=0&SeB=nd&K=vscodium-bin&outdated=&SB=p&SO=d&PP=50&submit=Go
You can see review them and see what they do.
